Walter C. Young's Cambridge Program

The Cambridge International program has proven to prepare students for life after high school through its curriculum that is both rigorous and recognized internationally. Walter C. Young's Technology Programs

Our Technology program supports, engages, and enriches our students by helping them develop problem-solving skills as they are introduced to different methods of critical thinking though complex activities.

The Career, Technical, Adult & Community Education (CTACE) technology program at Walter C. Young Middle School is proud to introduce the “KnextGen Knights.” The KnextGen Knights program offers students with an interest in technology an opportunity to take the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Essentials sequence which prepares students for all high school careers, technical and information technology (IT) coursework and academies. 

Our school Aeronautical course is designed as a capstone course for 8th grade students and serves as a preparatory course for those interested in the aviation dual enrollment program at Flanagan High School. The middle school course has components of Minecraft airport design, cybersecurity, engineering, rocketry, unmanned systems, aerospace and aeronautical sciences.
