Principal's Message
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are proud to be an A-rated school and proud of how hard our students, faculty, staff, and parents worked last year to make this possible!
This year, Walter C. Young is moving to a block scheduling format. This will be a big adjustment for our students, faculty, and parents, but we are excited about the additional academic and enrichment opportunities block scheduling makes possible.
As we prepare to welcome our Young Knights this upcoming year, I have no doubt it will be a positive experience for all our students, staff, and families as we continue to prepare our students for high school and beyond!
We cannot have a great school without the support of our families, and we hope that you'll stay active in our school by joining our PTSA, SAC, or SAF committees and by volunteering to make “Walter C. The Place To Be.”
